Infrastructure for the
jurisdiction we protect.
The full read on Joule Horizon — what it is, why it exists in this shape, and what changes when a coastal state, a tribal nation, or an allied island turns one on.
Or watch the 90-second version →More ocean than land.
The United States protects approximately 3.8 million square miles of land. It protects 4.38 million square miles of Exclusive Economic Zone and the airspace above all of it — the largest ocean jurisdiction on Earth.
The monitoring infrastructure for that volume was built one single-purpose device at a time, by one vendor at a time, on one calendar-based maintenance schedule at a time. The cost stacks. The value doesn't.
Sensors watch.
Infrastructure acts.
A platform that only monitors the ocean is a sensor. A platform that monitors, intervenes, and sustains is infrastructure.
The same device detects the contamination, maps its extent, guides the response, and verifies the recovery. The same hardware at every stage. No handoff to a different system.
Corridor with
a different shell.
Same Joule SOM. Same Buna OS firmware. Same mesh protocols. Same BLAKE3 provenance chain. Same fleet management console.
What changes is the enclosure, the mounting, and the standards compliance layer — because the physics of float and fly differ from the physics of mount-to-a-pole.
Six on the water.
Four in the sky.
- Buoy — USCG ATON class, AIS relay, PAM, met-ocean
- Drift — NOAA observing class, 18–36 month autonomy
- Pier — port infrastructure, harbor surveillance
- Lock — USACE inland waterway, SCADA integration
- Bridge — structural health, scour, flood warning
- Submersible — subsea PAM, restoration, cable monitoring
- Mast — tower / rooftop, ADS-B + AWOS + UTM
- Balloon — tethered aerostat, persistent overhead
- Strato — stratospheric HALE, 30-day to 12-month
- ATM — airport / heliport UAS management
Sovereignty
in the silicon.
Territorial sea, contiguous zone, EEZ, high seas, allied EEZ. Each node carries its jurisdictional configuration in firmware.
Data classification, encryption level, and reporting obligations adjust automatically as GPS crosses a zone boundary. Post-quantum cryptography and BLAKE3 provenance enforce it — policy is the backup, not the strategy.
Land, water, sky.
One console.
A Horizon Buoy at a tribal coastal village and a Corridor Marker on the highway leading there are nodes in the same mesh, observed from the same operations center, updated with the same firmware, audited with the same provenance chain.
A customer who already runs Corridor adds Horizon without onboarding a second vendor, a second platform, or a second support contract.
Hardware. Deploy. Operations.
Three layers, each independently priced. Buy the hardware. Add the deployment team. Add the operations layer. Or buy all three turnkey.
